MOTORCYCLE RENTALS FOR ADVENTURES IN CHILE

Some of the world's very best adventure riding opportunities remain in the mysterious and seemingly undiscovered country of Chile in South America. The Andes Mountains stretch the entire length of Chile, and are home to such exploration options as Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego to the south.

Adventure riders seeking epic dirt riding and dual sport opportunties shouldn't wait to make their voyage to Chile though, as more pavement is installed in the Andes Mountains each year. Part of the service we provide as RIDE Adventures is to consult with you on making sure you've chosen the best route for your riding skills and interests. But that's only possible if you CONTACT US to start setting up your motorcycle trip!

PLEASE NOTE: The Patagonia riding season is only October through April. Each year, some dates can be sold out well before the season starts, so we recommend you reserve your bikes 8+ months in advance or earlier if you want to ride the following Patagonia season!

Another recent assertion by Honda Motorcycles into the Adventure Riding world, riders seeking a compact-sized adventure bike have been raving about the CB500X. With plenty of power emanating from the parallel-twin engine, and an agile disposition, everything from paved twisties to gravel, dirt, and sand can be conquered with this fun adventuring option. Starting in 2019 with it's 19 inch wheel, this bike has proven itself for us in places like Patagonia, and will be a great option for riders exploring beyond.

BMW F750GS

BMW F750GS

Not everyone needs a gigantic adventure bike to have fun, and the BMW F750GS fills that niche of "big enough for the long haul, small enough to have fun." With a power-to-weight ratio similar to the bigger models, 77hp can be used to hang with any other adventure bike on the market and perhaps be even more fun when it comes to the dirt roads and tight switchbacks.

BMW F850GS

When it's predecessor launched in 2009, the world recognized the beauty of a "middle-weight" adventure bike, perhaps most appropriately built to handle it all. The new BMW F850GS builds on a decade of riders trotting the globe on a machine with all the power you could ever need, and agility to go have almost dirt-bike-like fun when the luggage and passenger aren't along for the ride.

BMW R1200GS Adventure (2014+ Liquid Cooled)

Just a year after releasing the Liquid Cooled R1200GS, BMW's famous Adventure model or "GSA" was introduced, and for all the right reasons. Like its predecessor, the "GSA LC" as we tend to call it boasts 125 liquid cooled horsepower and has the fuel capacity and carrying capability to make the longest and most remote adventures a reality. At the same time, it's still a thrill when in tight mountain switchbacks and twisties!

BMW G650GS Sertao

BMW R1200GS Adventure (2014+ Liquid Cooled)

What is the best motorcycle route to ride in Chile?

The answer to this question of course is going to vary based on what each rider's past experience, interests, timing, and available duration are. Generally speaking, most riders that are looking to rent a motorcycle and ride self-guided are copying variations of our, Patagonia Coast to Coast, Patagonia Experience route or the Best of Northern Patagonia tour. Patagonia isn't the only place to ride in Chile though, as we also have incredible scenery and riding around the Atacama Desert and Pacific Coast that can be enjoyed year round. The point here is, you might not be able to decide from all these web pages exactly which is the best route for you, but we welcome you to inquire with us, tell us more about your interests, and let us help you make the right decision!
