Since riding his KTM 950 Adventure down to South America in 2008 and launching RIDE Adventures in 2010, Eric now resides in Oregon for most of each year. Riding is still a regular part of his work though, in that guiding tours is a passion he'll always have, and researching new routes and regions allows RIDE Adventures to continue growing and providing reliable travel services to adventure minded riders and travelers from around the world.

We've said it before:  Any motorcycle riders even near the Southeastern United States simply must visit the Barber Motorsports Museum just outside of Birmingham, Alabama.  It's incredible!

As if it wasn't an awesome collection of motorsports history to begin with, now the Barber Museum's management is announcing plans to expand? The original 140,000 sq ft museum will now see a 100,000 sq ft addition set to break ground this year.  Standing on the inside of the racetrack that loops throughout this "motorsports mecca," a bridge will connect the addition to the original building, allowing visitors to walk over the track and see racing action from a unique perspective.

On the long list of “important things for successful and enjoyable motorcycle riding” is your physical endurance.  All prods toward maintaining strength, flexibility, an agility through physical training aside, this post is about staying hydrated.

The hours and miles can slip by quite quickly on the bike, and before you know it, the combination of excitement, heat, air circulation, and not stopping enough to sip from a water bottle can have you physically dehydrated.  As any physician would tell you: Being dehydrated slows your mental and physical reactions, and adds to the number of factors that could lead you to injury.
