Manufacturers like MSR and Ortleib make very high-quality water bags that can be filled with water and stored in a luggage box, strapped to the back of your motorcycle seat, or just stuffed into whatever luggage situation you’ve chosen. These water bags are extremely durable and should never have problems leaking as long as they are not damaged.
But what about the purification? We’ve found the lightest, easiest, and most affordable way to tackle the purification is with a product called the “Miracle Egg” made by AquaSmarter. Just drop this plastic egg into your water bag, and it purifies by ionization at about the rate of 1.5 liters per hour.
