Now in the middle of our research about motorcycle trips in the Caribbean, the verdict is in: RIDE Adventures will definitely be offering motorcycle tours here, and soon!
Areas like Punta Cana on the eastern shores of the Dominican Republic are receiving an average of 85,000 tourists every week, and the absolute majority of those travelers are staying in all-inclusive beach resorts, relaxing and enjoying constant service and never having to worry about or pay for anything.
That’s fine for some people.
Other travelers, especially those who don’t have children to figure into a vacation, might be interested in more of an “adventure tour,” wanting to see new countries outside of the walls of an all-inclusive resort. The idea of “all-inclusive” sounds great to everyone, but when you can add something like a motorcycle trip into a vacation, it makes any trip incredibly unique. Trust in the sentiments of almost any experienced motorcycle traveler: There’s no better way to get out and experience other countries than by motorcycle.
That’s exactly what we’re doing this week: Together with our new travel partners in the Dominican Republic, we’re confirming that it’s possible to experience this country by traveling amongst its people and seeing how the majority of this country lives and survives, while still enjoy the constant comforts and relaxation of an “all-inclusive” trip.
Folks searching for a winter getaway are unlikely to encounter a better combination of weather, affordability, and proximity (especially if you’re departing from North America.) To think you can bring all these key travel factors together and ride a motorcycle for the duration of your trip…the Caribbean should be high on your list of “Upcoming Motorcycle Trips!”
