It’s official: We’ve posted our first motorcycle trip offering specific to Harley rentals for Harley-Davidson tours!
RIDE Adventures is proud to be a growing source of the best in dual-sport motorcycle adventure tours and rental opportunities. So why the sudden change to include Harley-type options? A few reasons:
- We realize that not everyone out there is comfortable with off-pavement motorcycle riding. Be it because they’ve never had the training, don’t have access to trails, or just don’t have the desire to do so, there’s probably more pavement-only motorcycle riders out there than there are dirt riders. - There’s something to be said about how an action-packed, dual sport motorcycle adventure through tough terrain and nasty weather should not have the word “vacation” attached to it. There are riders who want to relax, decompress from the normal lives they live back home, and truly feel like an “easy rider.” While some respond best to a more rigorous ride, asphalt-riding on smooth twisties and scenic rural roads from restaurant to hotel can sure lower blood pressure and realign spirits for life in the fast lane as well.
- The Harley-Davidson success and mystique exists for a reason. Rich with history and steeped in tradition, the Harley logo can be likened to Coca-Cola and Nike in terms of worldwide fame. While Harley motorcycles can’t compare to the agile, nimble, and “athletic” abilities of many dual-sport BMW’s, KTM’s, Yamaha’s, and other bikes, you know what? They don’t claim to. Harley’s are motorcycles that cater to our 2nd point above, and as such, have helped foster worldwide camaraderie that can’t be forgotten.
