To our friends from the November 2015 Patagonia motorcycle trip through Tierra del Fuego en route to Ushuaia at the "End of the World!"......we finally got the group video done! Yes, yes ... it was a long time waiting, but the word about Patagonia is getting out there about this unique territory in Andes Mountains of South America. We're seeing yet another year of growth with new riders joining, and some customers returning with riding friends, and as such, we've been a busy bunch. Videos sometimes take a while : )
To everyone who hasn't been to Patagonia yet: Please don't think that our Fully Guided Tours are the only way to experience a motorcycle trip in Patagonia. We now proudly offer Self-Guided tour packages like the Self-Guided "Fly & Ride The Best of Northern Patagonia”, and the Self-Guided “Fly & Ride The Patagonia Experience".
For those who enjoy that "Self-Guided" and adventurous feeling on a motorcycle, but also appreciate the safety and security of having a Support Truck and some guidance along with you, be sure to check out our Self-Guided, Truck Supported “Full Patagonia Adventure” Package. We did some test runs of this format in the 2015/16 season with great success, so that now it's being regularly offered as sort of a "hybrid" tour format. Each rider can enjoy the daily routes at their own pace, while the Support Truck carries your luggage, and one of our bi-lingual Driver/Guides helps along the way.
Speaking of how we're growing, I guess I'll mention that this blurb now accompanies all our pricing quotes for riders looking to visit Patagonia this season:
**PLEASE NOTE: Our motorcycles are reserved on a "first-come, first-served” basis and many dates for the 2016/17 Patagonia riding season are already sold out. If you want to ride in Patagonia this season, remember that the bikes available now might not be just a few hours from now, which is why we confirm reservations only after a formal deposit has been made.
Hoping that riders take this as a sincere reminder (and not a sales pitch) it's important to keep in mind that the motorcycle rental business is quite different than car rentals. Especially to the point that we definitely have a limited number of BMW's and Kawasaki's available each season, reserving your bike should be Priority #1 if you want to ride in Patagonia this coming season. We have bookings well into 2018 already, so again...plan ahead!
Still with the idea that "more people need to see this," RIDE Adventures is now in it's 7th year as a Service Provider to motorcycle travelers looking to ride around the world. While there aren't any new countries or regions being offered this season, that's mostly because we already have so much to offer that we want to focus on making our existing trip options just a little bit better. My thanks go out once again to the many wonderful people, many of whom are now friends, for trusting in RIDE Adventures for their motorcycle trip needs.
