(Enjoy an inside look at some travel notes from my first research mission about motorcycle tours in Patagonia, going back to early 2010.)

Here's some notes about what it's like to start in Santiago, Chile and ride through Patagonia to Ushuaia, Argentina which is commonly referred to as "The End of the World."  This area, along with many other places in South America were the source of inspiration to start the company RIDE Adventures.  More people need to see Patagonia, and motorcycles are the perfect way to do that.

Travel enough by motorcycle, and you´re sure to meet other riders.  It´s just something that happens naturally, be it because of our similar interests, curiosity about either other´s bikes, or the occasional need for help or advice. 

In January 2010, we found time to break away from the office work and head north from Santiago to Canela Baja, Chile and catch some of the Dakar Rally action! A couple of tents, cameras, and a bunch of anticipation were all on board and ready to see the Dakar pilots close-up.
