Our first T.W.A.T. tour was a great (but cold) success for sure!
1st Trans Wisconsin Adventure Trail motorcycle tour, a success!
Cruising on your motorcycle through the northwoods of Wisconsin, you might not expect to come across what looks like a typical "East Coast Diner" amongst the beautiful woodlands. (Especially not so close the Trans Wisconsin Adventure Trail tour we're continuing to research.)
(Yes, the airport in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic actually has a thatched straw roof. Nice to see something other than cinder blocks!)
Going to Dominican Republic in search of great motorcycle adventures!
It's with tremendous excitement and throttled anticipation that we announce: "We're Going to the Dominican Republic!"
Surely we’ve all experienced over-assurance from others how a movie is going to be “so awesome,” or how a concert event is “the most amazing thing you’ll ever see.” My experience at the Barber Motorsports Museum had been slathered in such praise long before I arrived, setting me up for almost certain disappointment. For this reason, I could not be happier to comment on my visit there today by confirming that it is nothing short of INCREDIBLE!
Patagonia motorcycle tours should not miss the Puyuhaupi Lodge
This Patagonia motorcycle tour is almost over, as the season is ending here while winter rolls up from Antarctica. Still enjoying the scenery and riding though, Jeremy, Jeff, and Ian are all enjoying the adventure. The term “bucket list” came up tonight as I inquired further into their thoughts about Patagonia, and I think each rider is quite excited about the experience.
Patagonia motorcycle tours don’t need to just be about riding, although we’ve been getting plenty of miles on the bikes (today was another 10-hour round trip hustle from Hacienda Tres Lagos to Caleta Tortel in Chile.)
(Enjoy an inside look at some travel notes from my first research mission about motorcycle tours in Patagonia, going back to early 2010.)
Here's some notes about what it's like to start in Santiago, Chile and ride through Patagonia to Ushuaia, Argentina which is commonly referred to as "The End of the World." This area, along with many other places in South America were the source of inspiration to start the company RIDE Adventures. More people need to see Patagonia, and motorcycles are the perfect way to do that.
