The RIDE Adventures motorcycle tour of Northern Patagonia is ready to go!
Next week, a small private group of customers will arrive in Chile from Australia, the U.S., and Dubai, and we’ll fly down to the town of Osorno in northern Patagonia. Rising the next morning we’ll mount our BMW R1200GS’s, head south along the Andes Mountains, and over the following 10 days, see some of the most spectacular scenery found anywhere on the planet.
But this adventure tour isn't just about scenery: It’s the experience. It’s the experience of riding somewhere most people never even thought possible. It’s about discovering that South America…despite having earned a reputation as a dangerous land with bullets whizzing through the air and drugs and violence everywhere…is really nothing like that at all. It’s a journey that takes us through new cultures, landscapes, cuisines, and feelings. Feelings that I venture to guess simply cannot be recreated anywhere else in the world.
My goal will be to update this blog with a “picture of the day” as often is possible during the tour, so please stay tuned as we venture into the stunning experience of Patagonia. The difficulty won’t be taking great pictures; it will be more about choosing which ones to post! Patagonia is after all, the territory that first inspired me to offer motorcycle tours and rentals to the world through RIDE Adventures.
